Not having been all of a Twitter, and not one for Tweeting I am absolutely fascinated at this phenomenon being used in the reporting of court activities in the bail hearing of Oscar Pistorius to the outside world!

I skeptically checked out my current favourite media reporters on Twitter and ‘followed’ them, thinking I might get the news before the online news pages update themselves. The pace and speed at which comment/reporting has been done over the last four days via Twitter has been absolutely staggering – something one could not anticipate.

This non stop news alert that rolls and rolls and rolls has me captivated. Twitter is like a news-wire on steroids….. excuse me while I go back to scroll.
